Teaching Methods Training is interactive using the latest computer technology and software. Each candidate is directly involved in the various first aid scenarios which are projected on a large screen using a laptop computer and projector. Candidates feel they are actually dealing with an injured or ill person. This method of teaching first aid reinforces what is taught in the lectures and practicals and increases the confidence of the candidate. Training takes place in a friendly, relaxed and motivated atmosphere. Our aim is to ensure that the candidate is able to deal with injuries and illnesses safely , promptly and effectively . Trainers Our trainers are highly experienced in the provision first aid and sports first aid and so are able to answer candidate's questions using their vast first aid experience. They include medical staff in Accident and Emergency Medicine, Sports Medicine and experienced paramedical and Air Ambulance staff. Our comprehensive course manuals are fully illustrated, easy to understand and contain all of the course components. We use one training manikin for every two candidates. This ensures maximum practical hands on experience in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) technique and in choking management. The latest European and UK resuscitation guidelines are always used. Company Profile We are active members of the Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry and are involved in many of their meetings. Our reliability lies in the high level of service we provide. Many individuals and businesses have retained us as their first aid trainers because of the excellent quality of our courses and sound teaching methods as well as our extremely competitive prices.
